The Sela armchair draws its identity from the imagery of country life. Its explicit reference to saddles used in horseback riding aligns with its simple structure, resolved like an easel where the seat and backrest ensure the piece’s stability. Besides providing stability, they offer surfaces for the fl ap, which fi nishes the armchair. The armchair can be presented with or without armrests. In the version with armrests, there is a simple solution of opening slits in the same piece of leather (or fabric) that forms the rest of the upholstery.
