The Severina Armchair is an elemental piece in its palette and precise in its lines. The structure of the piece optimizes weight by concentrating the material at strategic points to ensure the overall strength. The chair’s legs are installed perfectly perpendicular to the seat surface, allowing them to be screwable and thus facilitating transport and storage.
The name reflects that it is, in essence, a tribute to the work of Maarten van Severen. Not intentionally, but by happy coincidence, this name also allows for a very welcome allusion to the work of João Cabral de Melo Neto and the leather hats of the culture from the northeastern region of Brazil.
